Oliver Wallace, born on August 6, 1887, in London, England, was a renowned composer and conductor in the American film industry. Known professionally as Oliver George Wallace, Ollie Wallace, and Oliver S. Wallace, he was particularly celebrated for his work in film music.
Wallace's career spanned several decades, during which he contributed to numerous animation, documentary, and feature films produced by Walt Disney Studios. His notable works include the original music composition for "Alice in Wonderland" (1951) and the songs for "Peter Pan" (1953). He also lent his musical talents to "Bride of Frankenstein" (1935) and "Old Yeller" (1957). Wallace passed away on September 15, 1963.
