Paul Chun Pui was born on June 26, 1945 in Beijing, China. Beginning in the late 1960s, Chun Pui worked as a supporting actor in Hong Kong cinema, appearing in over 130 productions across film and television. Their career spanned decades, with roles ranging from minor characters to more substantial parts in action and crime dramas.
Chun Pui appeared in Royal Warriors (1986) as Chubby Escort Policeman, a comedic figure in the martial arts film. In Just Heroes (1989), they took on the role of Qin, contributing to the ensemble cast of this crime thriller. Their later work included Guilt by Design (2019), where they played Lin Guo Quan, and A Moment of Romance II (1993), portraying Mr. Cheung. These credits reflect Chun Pui’s presence in genre films during their career.
