Paul Gleason was an American actor active in film and television. Born on May 4, 1939 in Jersey City, New Jersey, Gleason appeared in several notable productions during his career. In film, Gleason is recognized for his role as Dwayne Robinson in Die Hard and as Richard Vernon in The Breakfast Club. Gleason reprised the character of Richard Vernon in the 2001 comedy Not Another Teen Movie, and also played Lt. Bobby Pickett in Money Talks. Earlier in his career, Gleason took on the role of Lt. Sammy in The Great Santini, and appeared as Mr. Burton in There Goes My Baby.
