In 2003, Gama served as a sound assistant on Carandiru, contributing to the film’s audio work during its production phase. This credit marks an early step in a career focused on the technical aspects of sound in cinema.
A decade later, Gama took on the role of sound re-recording mixer for Hard Labor, a position that involves balancing and finalizing audio elements in the editing suite. This work ensures clarity and consistency in the film’s soundtrack before release. In 2017, Gama returned to the same role for Nalu on the Border, applying the same skills to another project.
