Pegah Ahangarani

Pegah Ahangarani is an Iranian film professional born on July 24, 1984. The daughter of actress and director Manijeh Hekmat and filmmaker Jamshid Ahangarani, the younger Ahangarani has worked in Iranian cinema since the early 2000s. Over the past two decades, the actor has appeared in 11 Iranian feature films, establishing a presence in the country’s film industry.

In addition to acting, Ahangarani has directed one documentary. Her latest credited work is the 2025 documentary Taraneh: A Documentary, in which she appears as herself. The project reflects her involvement in both on-screen and behind-the-camera roles within Iranian filmmaking.
