Peter E. Berger, born on May 30, 1944 in Los Angeles, California, was a renowned film editor known for his work in the Star Trek franchise. He began his career in the film industry in the early 1980s, editing the 1983 film "Staying Alive." Berger's notable works include "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier" (1989), "Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco" (1996), and two installments of the Star Trek series, "Star Trek: Generations" (1994) and "Star Trek: Insurrection" (1998). He passed away on September 22, 2011.
