Biography
Qaushiq Mukherjee is a filmmaker based in Kolkata, West Bengal. Born in the city, Mukherjee has worked across roles in the Indian film industry, including direction and production. Mukherjee directed The Land of Cards, a film released in 2013. The project reflects Mukherjee’s involvement in shaping narrative and visual approaches within the medium.
In 2025, Mukherjee served as producer for Zewel, a film under the banner of Overdose Joint, the production company Mukherjee founded and leads as CEO. The company operates from Kolkata and functions as a base for Mukherjee’s creative and organizational work in filmmaking. Mukherjee’s career also includes a background in advertising, spanning twelve years across India, Maldives, and Sri Lanka, before transitioning into film work.
