Raman Hui Shing-Ngai is a Hong Kong animator and film director born on July 4, 1963. Hui has worked in animation, contributing to major animated films in supervisory and directorial roles. In 2004, Hui served as Supervising Animator on the feature film Shrek 2, overseeing the animation team’s work on the project. This role involved guiding the visual style and performance of characters to align with the film’s established aesthetic.
Hui later took on a co-directorial position for Shrek the Third in 2007, sharing creative control with another director.
