Biography
Rob Simons is credited as a Set Designer on Sin City (2005) and as Art Direction on Walk the Line (2005). Simons also served as Assistant Art Director on G.I. Jane (1997), contributing to the visual construction of these productions.
In Sin City, Simons worked within the film’s distinctive monochrome aesthetic, helping to realize the stark, stylized environments that define the movie’s noir-inspired look. On Walk the Line, Simons contributed to the art department’s efforts in recreating mid-20th-century American settings, aligning with the film’s biographical narrative. Earlier, as Assistant Art Director on G.I. Jane, Simons supported the art team in establishing the military and operational spaces central to the film’s story.
