Sayoko Hagiwara is a Japanese performer whose work in film spans two decades. Born on December 1, 1962, Hagiwara entered cinema in 1983 with the role of Rei Tachibana, also known as DynaPink, in the film Kagaku Sentai Dynaman: The Movie. The production, part of a long-running genre series, cast Hagiwara in a lead role central to its narrative.
Two decades later, Hagiwara returned to feature films in Suicide Club, released in 2001. In the production, Hagiwara portrayed Mitsuko, a character whose presence contributes to the film’s unsettling atmosphere. The contrast between Hagiwara’s early genre work and the later psychological thriller highlights a range of performances within Japanese cinema.
