Rom then transitioned into the role of Director of Photography, a position she held for several films. Her credits as Director of Photography include "Tiptoes" in 2002, directed by Bobby Moresco, and "Sapphire Blue" in 2014, part of the "Ruby Red" trilogy directed by Felix Fuchssteiner and Thomas Nennstiel. In 2015, she served as the Director of Photography for "Taxi," a French action comedy directed by Luc Besson.
