Steve Hickner

Steve Hickner is a film-industry professional born on January 10, 1961 in New Hampshire, USA. Hickner’s work in cinema spans multiple roles, including directing and production management. Early in their career, Hickner served as Assistant Production Manager on the 1989 film The Little Mermaid.

Hickner later moved into directing, taking the lead role on two animated features. In 2007, Hickner directed Bee Movie, a feature-length animated film. Prior to that, Hickner directed The Prince of Egypt in 1998, another animated feature.
