Sumao Ishihara, born on May 1, 1903, in Kobe, Hyogo, Japan, was a notable figure in the film industry. Known for his roles in cinema, Ishihara's career spanned several decades. One of his earliest notable works was in the 1932 film "The Loyal 47 Ronin," where he portrayed the character of Kajimura. He later appeared in "A Geisha" in 1953, playing the role of Kokichi. In 1961, Ishihara was part of "The Gambler's Code," further showcasing his versatility as an actor.
