Tatsuo Saitō

Tatsuo Saitō was born on June 10, 1902 in Tokyo, Japan. Saitō worked in the film industry as an actor, appearing in over one hundred films during a career that spanned more than four decades. Their presence on screen was established by the early 1930s, with a role in The Loyal 47 Ronin in 1932, where they portrayed Kazuemon Fuwa.

By the late 1930s, Saitō had taken on the character Yasuhiko Shima in Warm Current, released in 1939. Their career continued into the post-war era, with a later appearance in Goodbye in 1949. The breadth of their filmography reflects a sustained engagement with Japanese cinema during a transformative period for the medium.
