Biography
Ted Smith was born on June 14, 1886 in Pennsylvania, USA. Working in the field of art direction, Smith contributed to the visual design of several films during the mid-20th century. Among his credited roles, Smith served as art director for Objective, Burma! in 1945, a film set during World War II. The following year, Smith worked on Three Strangers, a drama involving three individuals bound by a shared secret. In 1949, Smith again held the position of art director for Colorado Territory, a Western narrative set in the American frontier.
