Tina Hirsch is an American film editor and director born on January 1, 1943 in New York, USA. Known for her work in editing and direction, Hirsch has contributed to notable films across genres. In 1997, Hirsch served as the editor for Dante's Peak, a disaster film. She also edited Airplane II: The Sequel in 1982, a comedy sequel, and Munchies in 1987, a horror-comedy film. Hirsch provided additional editing for Honey, I Blew Up the Kid in 1992, a family science-fiction comedy. In 2006, she edited The Year Without a Santa Claus, an animated Christmas television special.
