Toru Minegishi was born in Tokyo on July 17, 1943. Active in Japanese cinema from the early 1960s, Minegishi appeared in over one hundred films across four decades. The actor’s roles spanned supporting and minor parts, contributing to a wide range of productions during this period.
Among Minegishi’s credited appearances is the 1964 film Youth Season Continued, in which Minegishi played Minato, an employee in the “Printemps Cosmetics” Advertising Division. The actor later took on the role of Hideo Yoshikawa in the 1990 release Neo Chinpira: Zoom Goes the Bullet. These credits reflect Minegishi’s sustained presence in Japanese film during the late 20th century.
