Biography
Vanessa Cole has contributed to art departments in major film productions, working across set design and decoration roles. Cole served as Assistant Art Director on Avatar in 2009, supporting the visual construction of the film’s immersive environments. In 2012, Cole took on the role of Set Buyer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, handling the acquisition and management of props and materials for the production’s detailed sets.
Cole continued in set-focused roles for later projects, including Set Decoration on Avatar: The Way of Water in 2022 and M3GAN in 2022. The work involved sourcing, arranging, and maintaining elements that contribute to the aesthetic and functional design of film sets.
