He was also known by several pseudonyms, including Fumio Tada, Ichirou Miyoshi, and 多田 文男, 三好 一郎, 木上 益治, 多田 文雄. Kigami's career spanned over two decades, during which he contributed significantly to various animated films.
Kigami's notable works include "Grave of the Fireflies" and "Akira," both released in 1988, where he served as a key animator. He continued his work in animation, contributing to "Doraemon: Nobita's Little Star Wars" in 1985 and "Crayon Shin-chan: Unkokusai's Ambition" in 1995. His final notable work was "K-ON! The Movie" in 2011. Kigami passed away on July 18, 2019.
