Biography
Yoshimasa Mizuo is a production figure known for work in Japanese genre cinema. In 1988, Mizuo served as Associate Producer on the film Akira. The role involved overseeing production logistics and resource allocation during the film’s development and release.
Later in the early 2000s, Mizuo produced two entries in the Ultraman Cosmos series: Ultraman Cosmos: The First Contact (2001) and Ultraman Cosmos 2: The Blue Planet (2002). In these capacities, Mizuo managed budgets, schedules, and crew coordination for the franchise’s theatrical releases. The two films expanded the Ultraman Cosmos narrative and were produced under Mizuo’s oversight.
