Known professionally by multiple names including Tsushima Keiko and Shizuko Kojima, Tsushima appeared in notable Japanese films during the mid-20th century. One of her most recognized roles was in the 1954 film Seven Samurai, where Tsushima portrayed the character Shino. Her work in the film contributed to its enduring legacy in cinema history.
Tsushima also appeared in the 1950 film Homecoming, further establishing her presence in the Japanese film industry. Beyond film, Tsushima worked in Japanese television, including roles in series such as Sakura and Kimi ga Jinsei no Toki.
