Masao Oda, born on January 7, 1908, in Tokyo, Japan, was a figure in the film industry. He is known for his roles in two notable films. In Akira Kurosawa's "The Ballad of Narayama" (1958), Oda appeared as one of the villagers who teaches Narayama's manners, although he went uncredited. In another Kurosawa film, "High and Low" (1963), Oda played the role of the First Executor at the Tax Office. His contributions to these films showcase his involvement in the cinematic landscape of his time.
