Ogawa's acting career spanned several decades, with notable roles in prominent films. He appeared as the Grandfather of the Kidnapped Girl in Kurosawa's epic "Seven Samurai" (1954), showcasing his ability to portray strong, memorable characters. Prior to this, Ogawa played the Park Section Chief in Kurosawa's "Ikiru" (1952), demonstrating his versatility in dramatic roles. His filmography also includes "Daigaku buyū-den" (1961). Despite being uncredited, Ogawa's presence was notable in the monster film "Godzilla" (1977), where he played the President of the Company. Ogawa passed away on December 29, 1967.
