Megastar Chiranjeevi is back with a banger in the form of Waltair Veerayya. The movie was released on January 13th, for Sankranthi this year.

Chiranjeevi managed to have a major winner with the film after a long time. WV is being considered the actor’s best in a really long time, especially after his comeback. His last two films, Acharya and Godfather didn’t really impress the audiences, with the latter being ignored because it is a remake.

Bobby Kolli’s action-comedy entertainer hits the box office on its 10th day of release. According to early estimates, the Telugu film managed to earn over Rs 8 Cr. The total collection value of the film is currently over Rs 139 crore, according to the trade website. If it continues at the same pace, the film will touch the Rs 150 mark in its second week.

WV is directed by Bobby Kolli, who manages to showcase Chiru’s retro vibe. The actor’s beloved vintage mannerisms have all been showcased perfectly in the film, which turned out to be the highlight of the film.

Shruti Haasan is the leading lady of this film, in which Ravi Teja has been seen in a key role. The scenes between Ravi and Chiru turned out to be an eye feast for fans, who have enjoyed watching them on the big screen after a long gap. Prakash Raj is also a part of the film, in which Catherine Tresa has played a key role.

Devi Sri Prasad scored the songs and background music for the film, which turned out to be an asset for the film. Waltair Veerayya also features Vennela Kishore, Srinivas Reddy, Rajendra Prasad, and several others in important roles.
