Chieko Nakakita

Chieko Nakakita, born on May 21, 1926, in Tokyo, Japan, was a prominent figure in the Japanese film industry. She is recognized for her roles in the cinematic works of renowned directors Akira Kurosawa and Mikio Naruse. Nakakita's notable filmography includes "The Storm" in 1956 and "Diary of an Elegant Hot Spring" in 1958, where she portrayed the character of Toshi, a maid. She was married to Toho producer Tomoyuki Tanaka.
