Erwin Biswanger

Erwin Biswanger, born on November 26, 1896, in Berlin, Germany, was an actor known for his role in the iconic silent film "Metropolis" (1927). Biswanger portrayed the character of No. 11811 - Georgy in this groundbreaking science-fiction film directed by Fritz Lang. His performance in "Metropolis" remains one of his most notable works. Decades later, his role was reprised in Giorgio Moroder's 1984 re-release of the film, titled "Giorgio Moroder's Metropolis". Biswanger passed away on January 1, 1970.
