Gian-Carlo Coppola, born on September 17, 1963, in Los Angeles, California, was an American actor and film producer. He was the eldest child of renowned director Francis Ford Coppola. Coppola's acting debut came at the age of 11, with an uncredited role as a boy in church in his father's 1974 film, "The Conversation." He later served as an associate producer for two films, "The Outsiders" and "Rumble Fish," both released in 1983. In "Rumble Fish," Coppola also took on an acting role, portraying Cousin James. His career was cut short by his untimely death on May 26, 1986.
