He continued to work with Kurosawa, appearing in "The Mysterians" (1957) as a doomed villager and in "High and Low" (1963) as a messenger passing a note. Ōmura's notable performances also include his role in Kurosawa's "Kagemusha" (1980). He passed away on November 24, 1991.
